My Teamstudio tool is crashing. What logs you should submit with your case.

If the Tools are crashing a system we use to ask for NSD to help debug and investigate issues. However, now that the tools run under eclipse the NSD is no longer as valuable as it once was for debugging.

What we would like to ask is that when reporting a crash, make sure you get the NSD file (just in case) the core dump file (.dmp extension) and the Javacore log file (these have a filename like javacore.<date>.txt> The 3 files you need are detailed at the bottom of every NSD file that records a crash. An example is here:

ERROR (0): got system exception: ACCESS_VIOLATION (3221225477)
ERROR (0): operation failed: accessing BLK_STATICPOOL data-- got system exception: ACCESS_VIOLATION (3221225477)
ERROR (0): got system exception: ACCESS_VIOLATION (3221225477)

So simply collect your NSD, examine the contents as above and submit all relevant files when you log your technical case.
